====== DTA/MTA ======
When collaborating with labs, research institutions or hospitals that are not part of OUS/UiO, there is a need for a Transfer Agreement for Data or Materials(DTA/MTA). This describes the security of data handling at the collaborating institution, and the methods for data transfer. A transfer agreement also includes the limitations for data use at the collaborating institution.

===== Templates =====

-if the collaboration is purely involving an external lab in analysis, a detailed purchase agreement will cover the requirements of an MTA. \\
-if the data use involves changes to the data management, described in the Data Management Plan or the project description, that includes possible new risk to the data protection of participants, a [[dpia|Data Protection Impact Assessment]] is warranted\\

==== OUS/UiO ====

In collaborative projects between Oslo University Hospital (OUS) and the Institute of Clinical Medicine at the University of Oslo (UiO), common routines and templates for agreements have been drawn up.
